Repair and restoration

Any part of your original window can be repaired or replaced, once repaired the window can be made to work properly, then it can be made to look beautiful.

All repair work is guaranteed, we use best quality timber from sustainable forests, which is treated with preservative to ensure a long life. We make replacement windows identical to the originals.

Draughts and Insulation

We draught proof windows to make your home quieter and warmer, we make wooden secondary glazing to blend in and provide big improvements to heat and sound insulation.

We make double glazed windows that look very similar to the originals. Examples can be seen in our workshop.

Doors and Shutters

Wooden shutters can be restored or made from scratch, they make a big difference to heat, insulation and security. Old doors can be repaired or copied.

New Windows

We manufacture, glaze, draught proof and paint for delivery to your project, anywhere in the UK.

We fit our windows in Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath.

Secondary Double Glazing

Made from timber with same profiles as the original windows, our secondary double glazing fits in beautifully.

When made with a double glazed unit secondary double glazing provides
impressive heat and sound insulation.

Maintenance

Most windows need only a thorough service to make them safe, sound and easy to use.

Minor repairs are carried out and the sashes planed to fit. The putty is repaired and the crusty old paint sanded smooth. The box frame is treated with preservative before the window is reassembled with new cords, balanced weights and perhaps with new beading. The catch and pulleys will be replaced if necessary, the window will them be working properly.

A general service can be combined with draught proofing, security work or
other improvements.
